Our favorite little present.
She mastered her “Hungry Tiger” face. I love it. She does it all. the. time. I think that’s how she tries to laugh, but no sound comes out!
Someone got a little spoiled.
Me and my little Mini Me.
One of our weekly pics… I just love this one!
Christmas baby selfie!
Hanging out with GG!
Conquering the art of present-opening.
We picked out Em’s first Christmas tree from this awesome farm – Zach cut it down while Em and I supervised. As you can tell, she wasn’t very enthused.
We had a great Christmas filled with lots of card playing, food, laughs and family time (with a little bit of rough sleeping nights thrown in). Overall, it was an awesome Christmas!
Zach caught one on his first try! So awesome!
I was amazed with how many people were out there digging! I’d never seen anything like it. We drove down the beach for probably a good 3-4 miles before stopping for our spot and the beach was packed the whole way. Who knew clamming was so big? I certainly didn’t… and I can’t wait to go next year! Maybe with Little BK strapped on my back and ready to go? Haha. Maybe not… 🙂
Have I mentioned I’m obsessed with Instagram? Follow me to keep up on my travels, DIY sneak peeks and other random shots. 🙂
Are you traveling for the holidays? Where are you going? We will be packing… because we found a new rental! Moving in three weeks and can’t wait to have more space. Pics to come… probably once we move in (with before & afters of course).
Then this is how it went down:
Jenn: You’re having a bleeping baby!!!!!!!!
Renee: Laughing and maybe some tears
Katelyn: Some Crying
Bethy: Hysterical Crying
Schmev: Hysterical Crying
Me: Hysterical Crying
Zach: I can’t remember because I was hysterically crying
It was a very happy moment. 🙂
Then we gathered our emotions and went over to my parent’s house and delivered their “early” Christmas presents.
This is how it went down:
Dad (before he eve opened the envelope): It’s a boy!
Mom (jumping on it before she opens the envelope): It’s a girl!
Mom (after she opens the envelope): AHHHHHHHHHH! and some tears
Dude: WHAT?!?!? Big smiles 🙂
Dad (after he opens the envelope): WHAT?!?! Big smiles 🙂
It was such a happy day for our entire family!
What fun ways did you announce your little one to the family?
But back to the party. Bethany cooked all the food (and we helped), Jenn ordered the cake, we all helped decorate, my dad took pictures, and there may have been an incident with the ice… It turned out to be a great party!
Most importantly, we had a great time celebrating Kevin and Renee and their 30 years of marriage! We love them so much and they are such great role models for what it is to be in a loving marriage.
The whole Kane clan was there (minus one of Zach’s uncles that was helping out with Hurricane Sandy…).
Even the whole Brown Clan stopped by!
We had such a great time, here’s some of the party pics!
Can you spot the difference? PHOTO BOMB!
The food was ah-MAH-zing! Bethany did a fantastic job!
We printed out their old wedding photos and put them in mason jars with some ribbon and tinsel for the centerpieces.
This little guy and I were dancing! And then he peed on me… Haha!
This is probably my favorite picture of the night. Fits right in with the 80s wedding!
Happy Anniversary, Kevin & Renee! (Today is their actual 30th anniversary!)
